Hip-Hop Fridays Biggie's Murder Revisited

A few months back when I wrote about the fact that the Notorious B.I.G. was under law enforcement surveillance on the night, and at the very moment that he was murdered, I received several e-mails from viewers who wanted to know why the media wasn't looking further into the case. Well, Salon.com has finally decided to pick up the ball and look at not only the investigation into the murder but also the mediocre reporting that has surrounded the case.

Today we turn our space over to the two most recent articles that appeared online and ask that you read them and save them and compare them to our Hip-Hop COINTELPRO series that we wrote about earlier in the year.

Something is more than peculiar about this case and its sudden reemergence under the media spotlight deserves very close scrutiny.
